Bosch asked young artisans to build a chair in hell!

Increase awareness of Bosch Professional among the new generation of artisans

01 Task

Bosch annually awards the Bosch Innovation Award and this time wanted to activate their partnership with the rock and metal festival COPENHELL.
Bosch wanted an activity targeting young artisans, so that they keep Bosch Professional in mind during and after their training.

02 Solution

We invited young people from all over Denmark’s vocational schools to participate in a competition to construct a centerpiece for COPENHELL festival in 2022. Specifically, we asked the young people to come up with creative ideas for a piece of seating furniture that could be featured at the  festival site.
Bosch Professional provided the tools and four female students won the competition. The furniture was exhibited at COPENHELL 2022 and as a reward, the winners received four festival tickets so they could experience their furniture in action at Denmark's biggest rock and metal festival!

70 of the country's technical schools
were invited / approx. 20 young people participated
/ 3 teams went on to the final - 1 winner.

In a large, internal European competition at Bosch, Bosch Denmark
and Copenhell won three awards, including "most impressive result".
