01 Task
TikTok is part of the everyday lives of over 1 million Danes and is one of our retainer clients. TikTok wanted to highlight how global beauty brands and creators across the Nordic countries are challenging the norm - and for many, somewhat old-fashioned - perception of beauty and body ideals.
TikTok also wanted to communicate the message that new trends and tendencies often start on TikTok - and that the platform has great potential to foster positive change for brands, users and communities.
The task was to organize a Nordic press and creator event in Copenhagen that could bring together the most influential journalists and creators across new and established media. We managed everything from concept to execution and included creative and efficient solutions.
02 Solution
We assembled a strong panel featuring three of the biggest creators in the Nordic region - including Danish Caroline Hannibal, who with 1.6 million followers ranks among the world’s top beauty creators.
Additionally, Parisa Khosravi, Nordic Communications Manager at TikTok, held a presentation on trends and digital communities. A world-famous beauty brand joined to discuss how they use TikTok in promoting products and cultivating a strong brand and beauty community.
The event took place at Arne Aksel in Copenhagen, where we created a vibrant and welcoming TikTok atmosphere. Guests could watch popular TikTok videos on pop-up screens, enjoy delicious custom-made cakes and snacks as well as getting makeup done by a professional makeup artist.
We curated a mini exhibition showcasing the most popular beauty products and displayed a series of posters with fun facts about beauty on TikTok, hanging from the ceiling. Following the event, attendees received a delicious TikTok goodie bag filled with beauty products.
