01 Task
PlayStation is an official UEFA Champions League sponsor and wanted to leverage the football final to celebrate the strong synergies that have always existed between PlayStation and football.
Specifically, PlayStation wanted increased focus on the PlayStation 5, which was back in stock after a period of console shortages. The campaign also needed to include multiple Nordic countries and incorporate a central piece of content for PlayStation's own channels.
02 Solution
We developed the concept "PlayStation Console Challenge", in which two of the most prominent FIFA content creators in the Nordics, Danish JKFifa and Norwegian Johans, were challenged to play three legendary Champions League finals on PlayStation 1, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 5. The prize was a VIP trip to Istanbul to watch the Champions League final!
We created a high-production content video that was distributed on PlayStation's Danish and Norwegian YouTube channels. Simultaneously, we developed shorts and cut downs of the video, which were shared across social media platforms, driving additional traffic.
The video gained further attention through shares on the content creators' own channels. In addition, the influencers produced supporting content before, during, and after their trip to Istanbul across Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube.
